Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late (UNIEL for short) is a 2d fighting game with visual novel elements. If you've played anime-inspired fighting games like Melty Blood, BlazBlue or Guilty Gear you'll find a lot familiar here, from the roster of 16 outlandish characters to the complex combinations of attacks and the precise timing and psychology needed to win. Like a lot of fighting games, it has some character balance issues and the netcode can lead to some lag in matches where timing is crucial, but if you have the patience to learn it this is a rewarding game.
